The Legalization Anthem just got our own dub-rock style makeover! Since it’s original release in 2015 with The Ragga Twins (known for their collaborations with Skrillex and Sasha Baron Cohen), Time Fi Legalize has been remixed and re-released annually on April 20th (4/20) with the aim of advocating for the legalization of cannabis worldwide. Over the years the We Chief project has grown to include a main group of 4 – Bajah, Rocky Lanes, Gosteffects and Geoffrey Rand. Together with our instrumentalist friends Toni d’Aquino (guitars) and Josh Werner (bass), we created this version to be performed band-style, expanding our live show format from a DJ/MC setup. We’re excited to perform this song along with our forthcoming album “Unify” at a venue near you. Free the herb!
